These Terms govern your use of montfordhart.com and purchases from Montford & Hart, operated by Levantan, a US-registered company.

Acceptance

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below. Please read them before purchasing. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Online store terms

You must be legally able to enter into a contract or have appropriate authority to make the purchase. Use the website lawfully and keep any account credentials secure. Provide accurate contact and delivery information.

Products, descriptions and availability

We aim to describe products accurately. Screen settings may cause slight differences in displayed colours. Product options, availability and prices can change.

An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order if stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, supplied information is inaccurate or fraud is reasonably suspected. We will contact you and refund any payment due if we cancel.

Updates to product descriptions do not change the goods or terms already agreed for an accepted order.

Prices, billing and payment

Prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP). Your order total and any charges we collect are displayed before payment. Standard shipping within the UK is free. Please read the international shipping and customs information in our Shipping Policy.

The payment methods available for your order appear at checkout and are described on our Payment Methods page. Payments are processed by third-party providers. You must be authorised to use the payment method supplied.

Delivery and returns

Our Shipping Policy and Returns and Refund Policy form part of these Terms. They explain delivery estimates, overseas fulfilment, our 30-day returns process, return costs and refund timeframes.

Contact us promptly if you need to cancel or correct an order. We may be unable to stop preparation or dispatch, but this does not remove applicable statutory cancellation rights.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including UK consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Intellectual property

Website text, branding, graphics, layouts and other content are owned by, licensed to or lawfully used by Montford & Hart, Levantan or the relevant rights holder. You may not copy, distribute or commercially exploit protected content without permission. Third-party marks remain their owners’ property.

Reviews and user submissions

Reviews, questions and other submissions must reflect your experience, be lawful and respect other people's rights. By submitting content for publication, you give us a non-exclusive licence to display it in connection with our services, subject to applicable law and privacy rights. We may remove unlawful, abusive, misleading or irrelevant submissions.

Third-party services and links

Shopify hosts our store. Purchases are made with Levantan trading as Montford & Hart. Payment providers and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. External links do not make us responsible for another website's content beyond our obligations under applicable law.

Prohibited uses

Do not use the website to commit fraud, break the law, infringe rights, submit harmful code, gain unauthorised access, collect others' information without permission or interfere with the service.

Disclaimer and liability

We take reasonable care with our website but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Nothing excludes or limits liability where unlawful, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or failure to meet statutory consumer obligations. Delivery delays or third-party involvement do not remove those obligations.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict access where there is a material breach of these Terms, misuse or a security risk. This does not remove rights relating to an existing purchase. Terms intended to continue after access ends remain effective.

Changes

We may update these Terms as services, operations or legal requirements change. The current version and date will be published here. Changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted order unless required by law or agreed with you.

Governing law

These Terms concern a business operated by Levantan in the United States and are subject to the laws applicable to its operations. If you are a UK consumer, you retain the mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law of the UK jurisdiction where you live. No provision requires you to waive those rights.
